Sandblasted Timbers, Posts & Beams

Some of the reclaimed wood we get is painted, unfortunately, which is great when it comes to preserving the wood but not always great appearance-wise. Sandblasting is a safe way to remove the paint without using harsh chemicals or milling the paint off.

The sandblasting also adds to the character of wood grain by raising it to prominence, giving the timbers, posts, and beams an interesting look and feel. The color can be left as is or stained while still maintaining a rustic appearance. All of our reclaimed timber comes in a variety of conditions, and a lot of time is invested in pulling nails, unfastening bolts, removing brackets, trimming out breaks, and sorting wood for grade. Pieces are individually selected for each order and Certified Grading is available.
