Surfaced Four Sides Timbers, Posts & Beams
Surfaced Four Sides (S4S) timbers means that the piece has been planed to a smooth, glossy finish on each of the four sides. The second photo in the gallery is before surfacing. All of our reclaimed timber comes in a variety of conditions, and a lot of time is invested in pulling nails, unfastening bolts, removing brackets, trimming out breaks, and sorting wood for grade. Pieces are individually selected for each order and Certified Grading is available.
